School Times

A reminder that School starts at 9:00am and children should be in school and ready to start at 9:00am. The doors will be open from 8:50am everyday, except Friday when it may be later due to a staff briefing meeting. School closes at 3:30pm.

Autumn Term Activities

Free Reading Friday

To raise the profile of reading in school and to encourage children to become active readers we will be having a number of initiatives this year. These will include; themed book weeks, time in each class for children to enjoy reading, library club and we would like to invite Mums or Dads into school for Free Reading Friday. This is from 3:10pm on a Friday when all children will be able to choose what they want to read ie a school reading book, a library book, a book from home, fact or fiction books, magazines or comics and parents are invited to come in and spend time reading with your child. You can read to them, they can read to you, or you can take it in turns! So come to your child’s classroom at 3:10pm on a Friday and read with them for 20 minutes til 3:30pm.

Coffee Morning

Our first Coffee morning will be on Thursday 16th September at 9:00 – 10:00am in the staff room. All parents are invited to join us for a coffee and chat.
